I got bored of plain walls and wanted to put something fun up, then time got the better of me and I had a monitor and pi-zero-2w mounted to my wall for a few months. Finally decided to do something with them and get a clock in my kitchen
It shows the next 3 BART trains and when the inevitable delays and cancelations appear I can see that. It also has the weather and of course the time.
Throughout the day the display will also move from white bg to black bg so that at night your whole living room isn't lit up!
The code is up here, and I still need to add 2 extra "widgets" but not sure what I want them to be...
The "brain" is a Pi Zero 2 W which is running diet-pi with lighttpd (has the code in the repo), and chromium running in kiosk mode. This means on startup the browser instantly opens and just runs the site full screened.
